In a society increasingly threatened by malaise from artificial intelligence, musical study becomes an act of peaceful rebellion. Devotion to deep artistry and tradition becomes an offering to humanity.

In 2020, Ms. Lauren witnessed the effects of the pandemic and quarantine on her students — who were all elementary children — and felt a deep sense of duty to help lift their spirits through musical connection. Her teaching philosophy since then has been to help cultivate a sense of sanctuary using piano as the primary instrument.
Under the tutelage of Dr. Sergio Gallo, Lauren graduated from Georgia State University in July 2024 with a Master of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy.
As a graduate assistant, she taught five different levels of Group Piano and was praised for the amount of care she dedicated towards helping her students. Lauren also served as the secretary of GSU’s Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Collegiate Chapter.
